Lisa Ekström grew up in Bangkok, Thailand, where she learned early on the importance of understanding and embracing differences. That foundation has shaped a career defined by curiosity, courage, and an ability to connect with people across cultures and industries.
With a background in hospitality and over 20 years at Scandinavian Airlines—serving as both Director of Sales and Director of Customer Relations—Lisa has a deep, hands-on understanding of what it takes to deliver world-class customer experiences. Her leadership at Scandinavian Airlines, where she transformed the customer relations department into a key strategic asset, earned her Sweden’s prestigious Framgångsstipendiet, among other national honors such as Speaker of the Year and Hottest Speaker of the Year.
For the past 16 years, Lisa has run her own company, Kamoja, where she helps organizations achieve exceptional results. Her approach? Let go of ego, have fun, and never lose sight of the goal.
